Guernsey goes All-In on AI as island-wide sprint opens for registration
The Guernsey AI Sprint programme is live!
Registration opens today for the Guernsey AI Sprint, an island-wide programme of free talks, workshops, clinics and hackathons running from 1 October to 12 November 2026.
Led by Guernsey's G8 industry bodies, the Sprint is designed to move the island from AI curiosity to AI confidence. Every session is free, there is no limit on how many you can book, and the programme is open to anyone in Guernsey, whatever their level of technical knowledge.
The programme runs to over 50 events across six weeks, brought together by over 80 organisations and businesses of all sizes and scales who are keen to share their skills and experience with our community. Sessions are grouped into five focus areas so attendees can build a route through the programme that suits their skill level:

The Sprint opens with a launch event on 30 September and closes with a gala dinner on 12 November, where the results of the six weeks will be presented. There is still time for organisations to come on board as sponsors of the programme and be All-In on AI with the Guernsey AI Sprint.
Alice Gill (Executive Director, Guernsey Chamber of Commerce, on behalf of the G8):
"AI is changing the way we work in every role and every industry - it is something you can’t ignore. All-in is going to bring the whole island together from business, government, charities and individuals, to give everyone the opportunity to build practical AI confidence over six weeks. Every event is free, and bookings are open now so it’s time to get involved. It's been a hugely positive collaborative effort, and it's exactly the kind of action that turns Guernsey's ambition into reality."
Katie Inder (Programme Manager, Founder of Concise, Guernsey Chamber of Commerce Board Member, Innovate Guernsey Board Member):"The AI Sprint is about making sure every part of Guernsey's community has the confidence to put AI to work. We deliberately built a programme you can start from zero on, with sessions for people who have never opened ChatGPT, and sessions for teams who want to build something real in a day. The programme runs from October 1st to November 12 and is bookable now — everything is free and there's something for everyone."
The full programme is live now at ai-sprint.gg, where events can be filtered by focus area.
