Part of the AI Sprint: six weeks of events across Guernsey, 1 October to 12 November 2026.
What this session is
AI tools have moved fast — from one-off chatbot answers to tools that work across a whole project, sit inside your spreadsheets and documents, and carry out multi-step tasks on your own behalf. This practical, hands-on session with Pat Cunningham (Indulge) brings you up to speed on where AI tools are today, with techniques you can put to use in your business straight away.
Expect real, everyday examples: writing copy that sounds like your business, building Excel formulas in seconds, tidying messy data, summarising dense documents, and rehearsing tricky client conversations.
Who it's for: Anyone already using AI day-to-day who wants to get more out of it — no advanced technical knowledge needed.
You'll leave with:
- Write clear, specific prompts that get usable results first time
- Work with AI tools that now remember context across a conversation or project
- Understand "agentic" AI tools that complete multi-step tasks, not just draft text
What to bring or prepare: Laptop recommended for a hands-on session
About the AI Sprint
The Guernsey AI Sprint is an island-wide programme, led by the G8, bringing together businesses, organisations, and individuals to explore, learn, and act on artificial intelligence. From October 1st to November 12th, we'll run workshops, talks, hackathons, and hands-on challenges designed to move Guernsey from AI curiosity to AI confidence.
Whatever your starting point, there is something on the programme for you.
