What this session is
AI is changing how young people learn, communicate and access information. It offers exciting opportunities for education and future careers, but also raises important questions about safety, accuracy and responsible use. Join a panel of experts as they explore the benefits, risks and practical realities of AI, helping parents feel informed, confident and prepared to support their children in an AI-enabled world.

Parents and carers of school-age children — no technical knowledge needed.

About the host
The Guernsey Institute (TGI) is Guernsey's leading provider of education, skills development, apprenticeships and professional training. This event is hosted at TGI's Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts (PRCPA), a premier venue for performances, conferences and community events.
About the AI Sprint
The Guernsey AI Sprint is an island-wide programme, led by the G8, bringing together businesses, organisations, and individuals to explore, learn, and act on artificial intelligence. From October 1st to November 12th, we'll run workshops, talks, hackathons, and hands-on challenges designed to move Guernsey from AI curiosity to AI confidence.
