People Planet Pint

Part of the AI Sprint: six weeks of events across Guernsey, 1 October to 12 November 2026.

What this session is
Join Rollo de Sausmarez (Un1ty) and Alex Herschel (Sea Green Solutions Limited) for a special People, Planet, Pint meet-up with a focus on AI.

As part of the island-wide AI Sprint, they'll be looking at the impact of AI on business sustainability. What can Guernsey businesses do to play their part in delivering sustainable change? We will also explore the environmental challenges of AI and how it can be used as sustainably as possible.

This should be a fascinating opportunity to learn more about the challenges of shaping your business's sustainability journey, with the usual relaxed networking and inspiring conversation.

Who it is for
Business owners and sustainability leads curious about where AI and sustainability meet. Open to all, no prior knowledge needed.

What you will leave with

• Understand where AI can genuinely support your sustainability journey
• Learn about the environmental impact of AI and how to use it more sustainably
• Hear real examples of what other Guernsey businesses are doing
• Connect with a room of people thinking about the same challenges

About the AI Sprint
The Guernsey AI Sprint is an island-wide programme, led by the G8, bringing together businesses, organisations, and individuals to explore, learn, and act on artificial intelligence. From 1 October to 12 November, we'll run workshops, talks, hackathons, and hands-on challenges designed to move Guernsey from AI curiosity to AI confidence.

Whatever your starting point, there is something on the programme for you.
