Learn how one Guernsey business built from scratch using an AI workforce — including the lessons learned the hard way.
Part of the AI Sprint: six weeks of events across Guernsey, 1 October to 12 November 2026.
What this session is
Justin Bellinger walks through how he, his bots, and the team at etheco.com have built a business from scratch over the last few months — from concept and deep research through to MVP and full board-level critique. Expect practical tips on getting the most from your own AI workforce, covering market research, MVP design and build, a "Board of Bots," bringing in auditors when one of the seats went a little rogue, regulatory and HMRC applications, and the places where only the human touch will do.
Who it is for
Business owners and leaders curious about what AI-driven business building actually looks like in practice — not theory.
What you will leave with
- A real, warts-and-all account of building a business with an AI workforce
- Practical tips on where AI genuinely helps in market research, MVP build and governance
- A clear sense of where the human touch still has to lead, and why

About the AI Sprint
The Guernsey AI Sprint is an island-wide programme, led by the G8, bringing together businesses, organisations, and individuals to explore, learn, and act on artificial intelligence. From October 1st to November 12th, we'll run workshops, talks, hackathons, and hands-on challenges designed to move Guernsey from AI curiosity to AI confidence.
Whatever your starting point, there is something on the programme for you.
