What this session is
Note: date subject to change — currently scheduled for 7 October, to be confirmed.
How will AI affect people's roles — really? This half-day event brings together a keynote, two panels and live trade stands to explore AI's impact on the workplace from every angle: company strategy, day-to-day automation and productivity, and the very human question of what it means for people at every stage of their career.
The day opens with a keynote balancing the company view of AI against the people view, followed by a panel on real examples of AI improving automation, information and quality of work — including perspectives from entrepreneurs. A second panel turns to the human impact: educators, psychologists and industry voices consider the pros and cons of AI at work and how to make sure it's used positively. The day closes with open Q&A, and runs alongside six trade stands throughout, with networking drinks to follow.
